Christmas Hours for Woodbourne Defence Health Centre (DHC) 2023

1. The Woodbourne Defence Health Centre will be closed from midday Friday 22 Dec 23, and will re-open on Monday 8 Jan 24.
2. Prescriptions. Requests for repeat prescriptions are to be forwarded by 19 Dec 23. Please email your prescription requests to DHC.WB@nzdf.mil.nz with the following information:
   1. Service number
   2. Full name and rank
   3. Name of required medication
3. Accessing healthcare during the closedown period - There will be no duty medic available during this period, personnel can use the following services:
   1. Accident and medical emergencies: Dial 111 for an ambulance or attend Wairau Emergency Department
   2. Non Urgent medical advice: Phone Health line on 0800 611 116
   3. Acute illness or injury requiring attention: Attend Marlborough Urgent Care based at Wairau Hospital, Hospital Road, Blenheim Tel: 03 520 6377
      1. If you are required to pay (if you don't have your NZDF ID with you) this can be claimed from Woodbourne DHC by submitting your MD990 with full receipts
      2. A copy of the consult notes will be required for your health records
