Loan Protection Insurance:

Free for members under 65 while employed by New Zealand Defence Force. Coverage up to $75,000 of the outstanding loan balance upon death or in case of permanent disability. If not eligible for free insurance, standard loan protection insurance can be applied for through another provider. See terms and conditions on the PCU Defence page.

How to apply:

To apply for a loan, you’ll need:

• Proof of income
• Current Defence Force Superannuation Scheme (DFSS) balance if securing by DFSS
• Bank account statements for the past 3 months
